Referral Agreement
A referral is when a licensed agent introduces a client to another licensed agent, usually in a different market or specialty, in exchange for a referral fee. This partnership allows clients to be served by a trusted professional, while the referring agent is compensated if a transaction successfully closes. Typically referral fees are 25% of the commission, but as always, compensation is negotiable.
Guide
Fill and sign the applicable fields and then send to the referral partner for their information and signatures.
Send when you are the referring agent and another brokerage will pay you the referral fee. If you receive a referral, make sure the originating agent sends you their office’s W-9.
