Melissa Martin

Hi! My name is Melissa Martin and I’m from St. Louis MO originally but made Kansas City my home after attending Rockhurst University. That is where I met my husband/co-owner Dan Martin. Dan and I have two kids together and live in Midtown. Before starting our brokerage, I worked in social services for 10 years. You could find me in elementary schools triaging with children or attending family court while representing foster children’s best interest. That is why a huge part of Kansas City Realty is finding ways to give back to our community. It is one of the fundamental pillars of our brokerage.

I work as the President of Kansas City Realty. My days consist of planning brokerage events and doing all the day to day activities that help make Kansas City Realty function smoothly. When I’m not working, you will find me fostering animals through local rescues or planning a trip to our lake house. I am typically the happiest surrounded by my family, friends, and animals, sipping the finest local beers or red wine on our front porch.
