Meet Mitch Lickey

Meet Mitch Lickey, he’s one of our beloved agents and most importantly a friend.  He has been an agent for a few years and completely hit the ground running.  He continues to be one of our top producing agents and strives to do better every year.  He loves to personally connect, talk real estate, and wear his hair down like a rockstar.  Here’s Mitch!

What’s your professional background?

Mitch: Prior to going full-time with real estate I spent 9 years as a Project Manager for a company acquired by ACT Test Prep.

Do you consider yourself to have a specialty in this market?

Mitch: This doesn't have to do with the market but my specialty is connecting with people. With such limited inventory in the current market I've really been pushed to adapt and try different specialties. In the past year I have worked a lot with investors and commercial real estate which I have really enjoyed.

Other than real estate, what are your passions around Kansas City?

Mitch: My wife and I have 2 young daughters so I love to be at every practice and game - currently that's dance and soccer #girldad. I like to play golf, basketball in a weekly men's league and hockey in the winter.

Top 5 KC Faves:

Mitch: Tattoos by Josh Martin (@joshmartinart), catching a concert at Crossroads or Starlight, dinner with the fam at Waldo Pizza, a Mocha Sevilla from Cafe Corazon, Bingo at Boulevard

Dream house in Kansas City?

Mitch: Sondern-Adler house by Frank Lloyd Wright

What do you see as the biggest change we need to see in this market?

Mitch: More inventory and lower interest rates would be ideal... but in reality more education around strategies to buy down interest rates, etc. I've had many conversations with people who don't want to sell because of their existing low interest rate, even though they are unhappy with their home.

Final Meal, what we having/where we going?

Mitch: Hotdog with mustard and relish at Kauffman 😉
